This is a low-rise quarter with a recreational component in the city of Khimki. The idea behind the project is to create a public space with an emphasis on culture, sports, and education.

This five-hectare area will include a “green” pedestrian zone with a café and restaurants, small stores, creative studios, summer areas for concerts and theatrical productions, sports facilities, and children’s development areas. At the basis of the architectural concept is the collective image of the European historical center.

The Old Town project was honored with a certificate at the Golden Section 2013 architectural festival.
