Counrty Park Hotel
According to the client’s concept, the building should be closely associated with Russian nature. The structure’s smooth lines are reminiscent of the Butakovsky bay and the form of its harbor. One of the variants considered for the building’s facade is to use materials with the soft birch bark texture that can be found hidden under the top layer of birch bark.
The building is in the form of an open ring. The hotel connects the Country Park complex’s existing buildings into a cohesive unit, while preserving the green territory to the greatest possible extent. Once construction is finished, there will be an inner courtyard containing a public zone with a summer cafe in the best traditions of landscape design.
Our priority was to design the hotel in such a way that the windows predominantly look out on the Butakovsky bay. The difficulty lay in the fact that the open circle’s outer diameter exceeds its inner diameter. However, by playing with forms and volumes (a different number of floors, etc.), we were able to give the majority of guests beautiful views of the Butakovsky bay.
There is landscaping on the roofs at various levels of the building.
